The Client

Headquartered in Wickenburg, Arizona, The Meadows provides treatment to individuals who are struggling with drug or alcohol addiction, mental health conditions, unresolved emotional trauma, or dual diagnosis. With their proven Meadows Model of treatment, experienced team of healthcare professionals, and facilities across the country, they are well equipped to help their guests recover in a safe and private setting.

The Problem

The Meadows is one of the largest addiction treatment facilities in the United States which brings its own set of challenges. One of those challenges being connecting with and recruiting talented and experienced behavioral health professionals. Recently, they engaged Psychology Today, a well-known magazine in the behavioral health community, to run three full-page print advertisements in their magazine.

Our Solution

We began our work on this campaign by bringing together the design and marketing teams at Astute and The Meadows in order to set the scope of the campaign and decide what direction to take with the designs and messaging.

The main objectives for this campaign were to build awareness of The Meadows and tie their rich history to the future of the company, inform clinicians and therapists that The Meadows possess the tools and expertise to provide clients with proven treatment methods, and to help with recruiting across all of The Meadows facilities.

Our approach to this campaign was to create three ads that shared a common theme of “connection”, and were able to effectively stand on their own with individual messaging focusing on different facets of The Meadows.

The three ads focus on The Meadows Model of treatment, their new Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program, and their Alumni program. The Meadows Model ad focuses on changing misconceptions about what they treat, the Virtual IOP ad focuses on connecting with people regardless of where they are geographically, and the Alumni ad focuses on reinforcing the recovery process even after guests leave the facility.

The common thread among these is that no matter where you are in your recovery journey, The Meadows is there to provide tailored treatment each step of the way.

This was a very fun project for the Astute team and The Meadows to collaborate on and we can’t wait to see how they turn out in the Psychology Today!
