Welcome back to “From Discovery to Design: 5 Crucial Steps for Planning Your Website.” This is the fourth segment of our 5-part series detailing the web design process. We continue our conversation from last week between podcaster Clark Buckner and our owner, Anna Stout, with a discussion about wireframing and site architecture.
Last week you learned the importance of content and the role it plays in the web design process. Now that you have established a content marketing strategy, you can begin to see how we start to outline your website with wireframes.
In this segment, you will see the importance of wireframing and developing your site architecture and how this plays an important role in the web design process. During the course of week four, you will begin to develop the blueprint of your website and redefine the process for designing for different devices and responsive themes. The acquisition funnels, content, and conversions you have been preparing will all come together this week.
In the age of modern technology, there are so many different devices upon which we can access the Internet. When you are developing a blueprint, it is necessary to take all these devices into consideration and design for optimal performance on any device.
Thank you for tuning in this week and make sure to check back next week for our fifth and final segment on creating the visual design of your website. We will conclude this series and present ways to visualize your finalized product.
